About

Hello, fellow tech explorer! Welcome to The Node Weaver.

I’m Kristie, a network security engineer. By day (and oftten by night), I’m deep in the trenches of networking, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, AI, certifications, and the secure flow of data across modern systems.

My journey into technology was anything but conventional. With degrees in Psychology and English, firmly rooted in the humanities, a series of unexpected pivots eventually led me here. What started as an accidental detour turn into a deeply fulfilling career — and revealed a powerful parallel: the digital networks we build closely mirror the deeper patterns of connection, flow, and transformation found in human experience.

That insight became the heart of The Node Weaver.

In networking, a node is a vital connection point — a router, switch, server, or endpoint — where data is routed, processed, converged, and transformed across LANs, WANs, and the global internet. Nodes form the very fabric of our digital world.

In astrology, the nodes represent a karmic axis: the South Node symbolizes our familiar patterns and the “technical debt” of the self (comfort zones and default behaviors), while the North Node points to the unfamiliar, often challenging path of growth and evolution. Together, the nodes point the way forward for an individual — they are the very fabric of personal evolution.

This blog exists to bridge these two worlds. I’ll share hands-on technical insights drawn from real-world experience — network architecture, packet analysis, troubleshooting, and secure systems design — alongside thoughtful reflections on how technology reflects and shapes consciousness, connection, and emergent intelligence between silicon and spirit.

I hope to weave these seemingly distant realms together by exploring how technology integrates into — and mirrors — our daily lives in ways that are far more similar than most people realize.

Thank you for stopping by and connecting with me.

Stick around — we have some meaningful signals to route together.
